Σφαίρα στρατιωτικού τύπου βρέθηκε στον χώρο που φιλοξενεί τους δημοσιογράφους στο κέντρο Ιππασίας στο Ρίο.
Λίγη ώρα αφότου εξουδετερώθηκε με ελεγχόμενη έκρηξη ύποπτο δέμα στο χώρο του τερματισμού της ποδηλασίας, νέος συναγερμός σήμανε στο Ρίο.
Αυτή τη φορά στο επίκεντρο βρέθηκε το κέντρο Τύπου στην εγκατάσταση της Ιππασίας, όπου εντοπίστηκε μία σφαίρα, στρατιωτικού τύπου, η οποία φέρεται να έχει τρυπήσει την τέντα, χωρίς όμως να υπάρξει κάποιος τραυματισμός.
